Hello sir Your video is so informative.. am currently persuing Med Onco in India Can i write MRCP SCE - Med Onco during my residency? If yes how helpful will this be?
You can write SCE Med oncology, and achieve nothing in return
Hi, does an OCI need to be renewed after renewing the child's (5 yr) british passport?
Hi. Thanks for the video. I have a doubt. Does it count if you do a poster presentation in a conference or if you published a research while you are in medical school ? Also I was involved in teaching my juniors while I was in medical school, in a course that is officially held by the univeristy. I have done this for 2 years. Does this count or does only teaching after you graduate include ?
All evidence should be post graduate
I have completed dmrd radiology (diploma). Can I sit for frcr exam? And can I become consultant through this pathway? Thanks for the video
DMRD is fine for FRCR application. Everything else remains the same as MD

Sir please can you let us know if PACES exam can be taken from India??❤
Yes
Sir , is clinical attachment necessary after MRCP to obtain job in UK ?
Not necessary
Sir kindly let us know about job opportunities after doing mrcpi in obs and gynae?
check out the NHS jobs website
Sir, MRCS,FRCS then CCT is equivalent to MS+MCH and we would be considered as a super specialist in India, correct? In 2022, these degrees+ CCT was also eligible for appointment as asst professors in Medical colleges in India, correct?
As per NMC rules, you are eligible for medical college posts after CCT. You might be the first one ever to join as asst professor after CCT.
@@SumanPaulDoc 'first one ever' 😂😂😂 I know nobody would consider that 😂 but it's just a reassurance that it is as legal and valid as an MS/MD/MCH/DM from India, right sir?
@@SumanPaulDoc I checked our state medical council website and they allow registration of FRCS seperately and CCT seperately. Does that mean FRCS alone could be considered as a super speciality degree?
Hi, 1) Do i have to take signature on renunciation form before attending surrender certificate appointment? 2) Also is it compulsory for applying oci to have renunciation Certification or we can show them the payment receipt and start the OCI process?
1. Yes, you need the signature. 2. Payment receipt is an option but your OCI will be issued after your renounciation is completed. So it's better to wait for renounciation and then apply.
i live in Birmingham and i dont see RC appointments until mid of next month. Do you have any idea whether i can get form signed in Edinburgh consulate and submit applications for Surrender and Renunciation at Edinburgh VFS?
www.hcilondon.gov.in/page/consular-jurisdiction/ Looke like you cant go to Edinburgh as per the jurisdiction.
Congrats on being a consultant sir🎉.I am an Anesthesiologist in India and have seen an mti post advertised, but they have asked for full gmc registration 😢 (then why is the job an mti job)and secondly can I apply for the mti jobs even if I didn't pass the English exam or what is the deadline for passing the English test for applying to mti program.Pls reply sir
Your MTI team will be able to advise about the English exam timelines. In medicine MTI, you can't even apply without an English exam.
Doctor can u do a video on speciality training in UK Vs Ireland Vs Australia vs Canada vs USA
What if we leave Uk earlier than 60 yrs age ?
You can keep it or take it
Any lock in period for ISA account?
No
Does anyone know how many months will it take for completing the whole process of surrender + renounciation + oci? I want to book tickets to india based on that. Can anyone please comment.
At least 4months
Private pension is also tax free ?
Yes
Can we invest/trade in stocks on a Skilled Worker Visa?
Yes
@@SumanPaulDoc read somewhere that we can't own any businesses on the skilled worker visa and owning stocks means owning shares of companies which is prohibited. Any links or evidence from the authorities for the same? Thanks
@@nishantkanitkar6258 www.gov.uk/skilled-worker-visa. This is the rule. It doesn't mention you can't own business.
@@SumanPaulDoc thank you :)
Sir if someone has been done with DNB general surgery and a fellowship in HPB surgery and completed both MRCS Part A and B and he wanted a fellowship in HPB and LT in UK for 1 year then whats the path?
They can simply apply for suitable jobs. Getting GMC registration won't be a problem as they have completed MRCS
Dear Dr can you kindly make a video explaining about all the different types of insurances , I would definately appreciate your help as you explain in detail and in very clear concise manner, a long time follower of your channel
Great idea about an insurance video! Many people struggle to understand different types of insurance. Dr. Suman is fantastic at breaking down complex topics clearly. @SumanPaul, what do you think? Happy to collaborate if that would be helpful! 🤝
Sure Doctor but I don’t have a lot of experience with creating youtube videos or collaborating 😊
Sure, that would be a learning experience for me as well.
Can u describe various tax codes ?
I only know my tax code. Not aware of anything else.its HMRC's responsibility to assign tax code.
Nice. What other expenses can we claim for tax relief? Like home rent, car, petrol, home loan etc
Car and travel expenses in certain situations like business mileage. Not for home loans, rent. There is some tax relief for working from home.
hi thank u very much for this useful video do we need to get critical illness insurance while living and working in the UK? As we have the NHS .
Critical illness cover is for income protection during illness. Not the same as in India to pay for treatment.
@@SumanPaulDoc Well done! I'd just to add that Critical illness insurance is slightly different from income protection. - Critical illness insurance pays you a lump sum for specific diseases (cancer, stroke, heart attack.) and does not pay for any other illness that stops you from working. - Income protection pays you a monthly benefit if you can't work ( due to any illness). - NHS Pension provides 1) Death in Service Benefits which provides financial support to dependents in case of a Staff's untimely death. 2) Ill Health Retirement which offers protection if a staff becomes unable to work due to illness. I hope that helps Suman, Thanks for your detailed video
It's best to listen to the explanation from @MONEYWISEDOCTOR. He is the expert
@@SumanPaulDoc You are too kind! You have garnered a lot of experience yourself! Sir
Thank you doctor
Hello sir, I completed my MD Radiology this year and am preparing for FRCR if I clear this exam can I directly get into CCT? or will I have to do some addition years of work, if so, how many years before I could get into CCT? Also, I have searched and found out that CCT for Radiology is for 5 years please confirm this as well? Thank you for such an informative video and please do answer.
MD radiology and FRCR for Indian radiologist
can one do 1yr-2yr fellowship after MS and then return back to their home country
Absolutely! Many people choose to do a fellowship after completing their MS before returning to their home country. It can enhance your skills and knowledge in a specific area.
As other guiding platforms say, it seems only those who have gone through plab route are able to achieve cct and settle in uk, some kind of disadvantage if we opt for md+ mrcp route. Do you get what they are saying, just reply if you need that video I’ll dm.
I have not done PLAB but have received CCT, consultant job and British citizenship. However I agree that's true for surgical specialities.
I have completed my Neurosurgery. Is MRCS mandatory or can i apply for FRCS directly .
You cant apply for FRCS without UK experience. FRCS International is allowed
@@SumanPaulDoc so basically clear MRCS , work in UK and simultaneously apply for FRCS there
What is this CESR pathway
Another question, I've seen some specialties recruit through the msra exam and one of the requirements to start the specialties is gmc registration, so if an img is not working in the UK but has already obtained gmc registration through the mrsa or mrcp route and not the plab route, are the license the same regardless of the route used? Or are the licenses obtained through mrsa and mrcp only specific for those getting into the surg and physician specialty?
GMC License for all routes is the same.
now that passing mrcs and mrcp exams gives one gmc registration, can one use the registration to apply for junior doctor positions or fy2 or non-training positions to get used to the system instead of getting directly into the respective training/registrar jobs?
yes, they can apply for both training and non training posts
Suman da, thanks for the video. Please could you recommend , What are some trusted life insurance brand here in UK? Thanks.
I have mine with Aviva. Best is to compare here and choose the most suitable one: www.moneysupermarket.com/refer?referralCode=1665028
@@SumanPaulDoc Brilliant. Thanks Suman da.
Hello Suman da, Thank you very much for this video. and by the way, Congratulations. Please make a video on the pros and cons of getting the British citizenship (I am in dilema). Please suggest from financial perspective for someone who has strong financial ties with India (Including stock market back in India), what happens after getting British citizenship? Do we need to sell all stocks holding and what about any existing property and buying new property back in India. If you could shed some light on this topics, that would be great. Thanks again.
Advantage of British Passport for an Indian passport holder with ILR
I'm currently doing my house job in Pakistan Please guide me which path should I choose MRCOG or plab??
Both are options, MRCOG is better if you can clear the exam
Hi, how do i pay for renouncing the indian passport as the site didnt work at the time? Do i need to book two appointments for surrendering and renouncing ?
It's online payment after submission of your application. If you are doing both on the same day, then book just 1 appointment for renounciation
Please advise for plab pathway for IMG/fmgs for plab 2 exam preparation ,visa, accommodation & air ticket tecnical tips
I don't have any personal experience for PLAB. You will find other excellent resources on FB groups
thanks
bachelor degree from 2 universities as I took transfer or migration but both universities are recognised by ecfmg am i eligible for plab?
Your medical degree will come from only one university. You should be eligible for PLAB if that university is recognised
Sir , what about MRCP part 2 syllabus
Based on IMT training curriculum
Sir what about md sports medicine sir?
They don't have NHS jobs. Only few training posts every year
Is mrcp without md/mcps worth it?? I cant do training in my home country but i wanna do mrcp please suggest. And does mrcgp int have any scope anywhere eg in gulf etc.
MRCP itself is a pg diploma and has value. MRCGP int has no value in the UK
Hi, thanks for your video which is really informative. I'm now holding ILR and I wish to go back to my country for a work. You mentioned that in order to keep the ILR, I have to back to the UK every 2 years. Can it be, for example, attend an international conferences (for academics), a business trip, or simply few days random trips in the UK? so I can still keep my ILR
Short team travel for upto few months is fine.Try to keep within 180 days.
Sir i am respiratory medicine physicians after clearing mrcp can i practice as internal medicine physician?
Yes you can
Kindly make a video how to revise mrcp content for part 1 after completing qbank and theory once.... really i need guidance for quick revision bcoz I'm in dnb emergency medicine post graduation trainee Apollo hospital Kolkata
Keep doing the q banks as revision. We are in the process of developing a crash course in studymedic. Hopefully it will get launched soon
